Job Title: PC Technician

Job Location: Clark County, Nevada

Job Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extention)

Total Openings: 4

Job Type: Onsite

 

Need: 4 PC Technicians to work on the I.T. Technology Refresh Project (TRP) of 1000 to 1500 devices.

 

Duration: 6+ Months Contract. The associates will work a total of 40 hours per week.  The 40 hours per week will be worked in a 5-day work week with a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (One hour lunch).

 

Sourcing Status:

The selected candidate (s) will be required to pass a stringent criminal fingerprint background check.   This background check can take from one (1) to six (6) weeks to complete, during which time the selected candidate will not be permitted to begin work unless the client is able to provide an exception.

 

Description and skill set required:

Extensive experience working with Desktops, Laptops, and Tablets. Work with a large team comprised of skilled Systems Technicians. The candidate should have proficiency in the following:

  1. Installing and configuring County standard Hardware and Software (Dell Optiplex and Latitude)
  2. Microsoft MDT imaging
  3. Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11
  4. Microsoft Office Suites 2010, 2013 and O365
  5. Basic Microsoft Administration
  6. Intermediate-level Network Infrastructure
  7. Troubleshooting techniques
  8. Working under deadlines
  9. Team participation
  10. Documentation of technical procedures
  11. Asset tracking and inventory management
  12. Customer Service

 

POSITION REQUEST

Position Classification: PC Technicians

  1. 4 PC Technicians to work on the Client’s Technology Refresh Project (TRP) project to address the imaging and deployment of 1000 to 1500 devices.

 

Experience:

  1. A minimum of two years in the Information Technology field.
  2. Extensive experience working with Desktops, Laptops, and Tablets.
  3. Work with a large team comprised of skilled Systems Technicians.

 

Special Skills:

  1. Triaging computer issues and imaging devices

 

Preferred Skills:

  1. Standard procedures and laws related to software licensing agreements
  2. Methods and practices of IT hardware and software management
  3. Inventory control record-keeping practices and principles
  4. Standard procedures and laws related to software licensing agreements
  5. Preparing clear and concise correspondence and other written materials
  6. Analytical problem-solving abilities, proactive/positive team player, resourceful, innovative
  7. Demonstrate professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  8. Proven multi-tasking skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure, handle heavy volumes and meet demanding deadlines
